With the love of growing and using herbs comes a great interest in the qualities and benefits of the individual herbs. By drying some of the herbs or using them fresh, many of the healing qualities can be preserved. Our apothecary contains many of these dried herbs which we have grown in our gardens as well as herbal infusions.

Our herbal oils are made by gently steeping the herbs in the finest vegetable oils. Through a slow process the oils act as a solvent to help release the medicinal qualities of the herbs while also providing a healing emollient base. These herbal oils are the primary ingredients for our salves. Beeswax adds a protective quality while providing the firmness to form the salve.

The fabric is 100% soft cotton. The outside pillow case is removable and washable. The lavender buds, lavender essential oil & flax seeds are encased in a soft muslin fabric. It can be warmed lightly in the microwave or refrigerated for warm or cold therapy.
