With the love of growing and using herbs comes a great interest in the qualities and benefits of the individual herbs. By drying some of the herbs or using them fresh, many of the healing qualities can be preserved. Our apothecary contains many of these dried herbs which we have grown in our gardens as well as herbal infusions.

Our herbal oils are made by gently steeping the herbs in the finest vegetable oils. Through a slow process the oils act as a solvent to help release the medicinal qualities of the herbs while also providing a healing emollient base. These herbal oils are the primary ingredients for our salves. Beeswax adds a protective quality while providing the firmness to form the salve.

	Jewelweed Salve 1 ounce jar - $5.00 2 ounce jar - $9.00	Jewelweed is often called Nature's antidote to poison ivy and poison oak. This is to be used before the rash develops. 	Organic Calendula Herbal Salve 2 ounce jar - $5.00	Calendula (calendula officinalis)is such a wonderful herb! It is often used in skin care because of its ability to help promote cell repair while also helping to fight skin infections. It is gentle herb and is often used in baby products. My organically grown calendula petals have been infused in organic sunflower oil. To this, organic beeswax and a light touch of organic lavender essential oil was added. 	Organic Whipped Shea Butter 2 ounce jar - $7.00	Our all natural light and fluffy whipped shea butter is a moisturizing treat for your skin. It begins with the finest organic shea butter. To this we add a small amount of organic sunflower and organic jojoba oils and we whip it for hours. We added a touch of organic lavender, rose geranium and ylang ylang essential oils to give it a beautiful light scent. 	Tea Tree Hydrosol 4 ounce spray bottle (as pictured) or 8 ounce glass bottle	Tea Tree Hydrosol - Melaleuca alternifolia. We have distilled our own organically grown tea tree to make this gentle hydrosol. It has many of the properties of the essential oil in a delicate, herbally scented hydrosol which is made by heating the plant material with steam. This causes the glands of the plants to burst and release the oils and essence of the plant into the steam. The resulting product contains all of the essense of the plant.
